We Did It! We Found a New Lead Pastor!

Well… we did it! The members of Harbor Covenant Church unanimously voted to extend a call to Brandon Goad to be our next Lead Pastor! What a journey it’s been.

I am very excited for what’s next for Harbor Covenant Church. If all goes according to plan, Brandon will be here sometime the week of July 13 and preach his first sermon as our Lead Pastor on July 19. That could change, though… so hold those dates loosely for now.

Now, while I am excited for this. I just need to give a HUGE shout-out to YOU!  Ministry has continued with exceptional quality at both Campuses during our transition of lead pastors… and that’s because of you! By the time Brandon gets here we will have had 4 different lead Pastors since July 2025. That’s kinda wild.

It is no surprise, though, that God’s faithfulness and steady hand have remained. One of the ways he has done that is through your commitment! You have been the threads He is using to knit it all together: Small groups, Bible Studies, hospitality teams, office volunteers, kids min volunteers, youth min volunteers, tech crew,  worship team, prayer teams, brunch teams, security teams, set up and tear down, leadership team members, organizers, yard maintenance workers, cooks, construction workers, service project volunteers, reading mentors, prison visitors, the list goes on and on. 

So yes, we have a new season of leadership under Brandon coming soon, but God has always been present here. I am excited to do kingdom work together with you and Brandon moving forward.
